I worked with many coaches in various academies and clubs, and no doubt, Eduardo was by far the best coach. He gave me confidence in my game and my mental approach towards tough matches. He is a tremendous technical coach, and implemented changes in my game that made a huge difference. He consistently uses video analysis, repetitive ball drilling, racket swings with weights, etc. to improve at a constant rate. The big difference between Eduardo and other coaches, is his brilliant physical form and tennis abilities. He not only understands how to teach the game, he is also a great hitting partner, and a tough physical coach. What I love most about Eduardo is his optimistic attitude on and off the court. He was always enthusiastic, positive, encouraging and inspiring in motivating me. There aren't many coaches who have that zest for tennis, love of teaching, extraordinary fitness level, professional coaching skills and easygoing personality.

Eduardo is one of a kind. Because he has worked with so many different players, he is an expert in tailoring lesson plans to exactly what each person needs. He is the perfect choice if you want a tennis coach who is encouraging and truly loves the game of tennis. He is a friendly, high-energy coach who will push you to work hard, make you much stronger, faster and fitter because he will motivate you to get your sweat on. His years of experience make him a technical expert who is well-equipped to hone in on perfecting specific strokes. Eduardo is demanding in his coaching style and is an excellent choice for a tennis coach if you’re looking to start competing at the ITF, WTA or ATP level.

While Eduardo was the Director and Head Professional at Cayman Islands Tennis Club from 2008-2012, he coached Panav Jha for over 3 years and in 2010, Panav became the #1 junior player in Canada. He managed five instructors to operate the tennis academy. He provided instruction to students of all ages and abilities, including cardio tennis classes. He was the ambassador for players which included development of ITF and junior players, scheduling practices, creating tournament draws, and playing and coordinating exhibition matches. Every year he coordinated and participated in the Legends Championship Pro-Am at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman with Jimmy Arias, Jim Courier, Michael Pernfors, Stefan Edberg, Marat Safin, Aaron Krickstein, and Mats Wilander. He also worked with the ITF to promote tennis in local schools, organized social events and tournaments, and supervised and managed all the tennis pros. His level of energy and passion for tennis is infinite. What I learned from him as a student I have brought to my own coaching career which wouldn’t be at all possible without following Eduardo’s coaching and fitness methods. My life would have been completely different had it not been for working with Eduardo.

Eduardo Torres is an outstanding tennis coach and motivator of young players. We have worked with a number of coaches from different clubs and from across the country and Eduardo stands out in every way. While employed at Calgary Winter Club from 2001-2004, Eduardo established a junior development program for a group of highly motivated young players. Eduardo’s commitment to this group was completely unexpected. He practically lived at the club, ran with them out in the subzero temperatures and showed an incredible dedication to their enjoyment and development of the game. He coached over 120 players who went on to receive NCAA scholarships. Many others became ATP and WTA professional players, touring pros and certified coaches.
